* Vehicle recovery
Our clients in the asset finance and vehicle hire industry are constant targets for fraudsters and thieves. Vehicles are purchased or hired using falsified personal details and are either used in crime, sold onto unsuspecting purchasers or exported abroad to destinations across the globe.
D-tect is able to provide a full investigation and recovery service involving national and international resources in gathering intelligence about the suspects involved and the locations of the vehicles wherever possible.

* Undercover operations
We have been able to assist clients in certain areas where theft or other illegal activities are suspected on their premises. The usual locations can include large warehouses used for storage or distribution centres, or anywhere there is an opportunity for employees to be involved in illegal activity. There may be a group of employees working within a large workforce, forming a supply chain to each other and systematically stealing the company assets, or in some cases sabotaging the running and safety of the company.
We are able to infiltrate the workforce using trained undercover operatives and gathering intelligence on suspects, their modus operandi, and also identifying other areas of concern that may include Health and Safety issues or general security.
When planning such an operation, the safety and welfare of our undercover operatives is of paramount importance. Should any of the workforce become suspicious, then this could lead to a very dangerous situation for our operative. It is therefore necessary that those involved in the discussions to implement the plans, be kept to the absolute minimum, thereby reducing the possibility of any loose tongues leading to the compromise of the undercover operative.
